Hi, I have a XLR8 Carrier card in my PM8500, with a G3 ZIF card. The person who sold it to me said it is a G3 300MHz produced by Apple. I have set bus speed to 46,4MHz and the processor speed to 370MHz. Is it safe? I mean, are there any dangers that I should be aware of? Anything other than the processor temperature (it never reaches more than 40C)? I remember reading somewhere that running G3 at a higher speed might damage it.
