What is a Maxtor is often not a Maxtor.

The UATA/133 drives, for the most part, are really Quantums. Maxtor purchased
Quantum Disk Drive (but NOT Quantum Tape Drive) two years ago.

Quantum was pretty much failing in the UATA business, anyway, and Maxtor had
no U-SCSI products, so the merger gave Maxtor instant UATA/133 and instant
U-SCSI product lines, plus its already wildly successful DiamondMax line,
which was UATA/100.
