I connected video out to a vcr and then a tv to the vcr. I can watch
movies from the vcr on the tv and with video player on the Mac. I can also
feed video from a camcorder to the computer through the vcr.

I can record sound from Quicktime player to video tape. But I can't record
video from the computer. It also does not show on the tv. I've done this
before on a 5500 so that the Mac could be used as a presentation system.
Whatever the Mac was dispalying would show on the tv.

(I wish I did have Prmiere)

thanks, jim
