Hi all,

Sorry about not replaying to all the postings "click of death", will do
that later.
Came just back today and facing a lot of new problems with my 6500.

Had the last month two crashes of the HD, lost one time 1.8 gig and the
second time 1.1 gig.

Get over the last three weeks regular a 127 error message, The only way
to get it going again is to reinstall OS 9.1 without any data loss.
After one reinstall today I got a new problem I can't solve:

5 Folders on the desktop disappeared, nothing lost inside the HD, the
trash pin emptied itself, a folder named "desktop folder" appeared in
the hard disk, locked with nothing inside.
If I want to move a file in the trash pin I get the message: "filename"
cannot be left in the trash. Do you want to delete "filename"
immediately. If I click OK it will be deleted.
Tried to reinstall, got a message after a few seconds that there is a
problem with the 6500, the second time it said that I should move the
file "TutorialAW.PPC.7.ship" to another folder, with Sherlock I couldn't
find this file.
I started up with Norton Disk Doctor, it showed up the Norton CD on the
desktop but not the hard disk.
Several Icons on folders in the HD are missing like ATM, on desktop the
keyboard layout icon was gone, with techtool "restore desktop" I could
get this one back.

What can I do about this,

Fast help would be welcome, also off list.

Thanks

Franz
