Also the 630 has begun to malfunction. It has been squeaking recently when feeding paper, and now it pushes the paper only partway (~7cm) out of the slot, where it stops and the end inside the printer is creased by the rollers there. If there's more than one page to print nothing will happen until I pull the stuck sheet out. The sheet will have been fixed, so it's OK apart from having a double wave bent into the bottom.
Ideas?
I have a 630 Pro right here driven by Laserwriter 8 (9.1). Aside from tropical heat and humidity (we have the same weather conditions as Darwin, Australia) that causes paper to stick together, its pickup rollers may be coated with dirt causing it to lose its grip evenly so paper gets askewed. A deglazing solution used for keeping fax rollers 'tacky' will help solve frequent paper jams.

OK, thanks... that sounds like my problem. The rollers do turn, as I can push on the nylon gear at the belt-drive end and the whole lot turns (stiffly).
Now... I did try to open this assembly up some days ago, but could find no fasteners (screw or the aptly-named snap). How do I get into it?
