My old favorite, SoundJam 2.5.3, somewhat recently ceased to access it's CD Lookup feature. (I've done a re-install). OS 9.1
Wonder if anyone has heard of some hacks to redirect it and make this wonderful abandonware more functional. I certainly don't mind using ResEdit. Checked the web, with no current results. (When necessary these days, I use Audion to convert .ogg and the occasional (newer?) .mp3 format and then re-rip. Haven't found any satisfying alternatives. MP3 Rage is way overwrought, iTunes is a sad eunuch of SoundJam, Audion is great, but not really database and feature friendly, like SoundJam. Hack directions would be greatly appreciated. (BTW lucky me paid the SoundJam shareware fee about 3 months before Apple sucked them off the planet.) Lou -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
