Thanks Michael, nice explanation. Getting the picture now. It would be nice to have two processors even if there were no apps for them if one could manually tell one to do one thing and the other to do another - so that one doing one thing did not slow down the other doing another thing. I am assuming that you could not do this, that the finder was not so provisioned in any Mac OSs.
