It's kind of an historical exercise.  It also shows the contributions made by 
companies like Daystar. I think I have the first one-an Apple/ Daystar marked 
180x2 604e.  I think lowendmac has archived the Daystar and UMax stuff and 
there is some info on multiprocessors there.  XLR8 Speed Control and Apple 
Profiler, etc. will acknowledge its presence.

Cinebench is a fun program which does recognize the multiprocessor and take 
advantage of it, showing the real gain.  Other that that, I didn't really 
compare Photoshop filters w/ and w/o MPs.  By Photoshop 5, 6 and 7, I am not sure 
there would be much gain??  Still, it's fun to see where the current emphasis 
and to some extent reliance on dual processors for the Mac platform and OS X 
all began.
