But why do a reinstall, when all you need is the drivers? Just download them and be done with it. I have been using this method ever since I started using Macs, and have never had a single glitch. I don't consider myself an expert, but I have owned over 100 Macs (and have 50 5400's right now!!-lol) and all I know is what works for me. I have updated 9.1 to 9.2.2 so doing a reinstall isn't an option. Or back to square one I go-lol.
