True, X introduces problems like we've NEVER had before! Like why won't 
Windows install on one machine that is supposed to be exactly like 
another?
This is the unfortunate downside of X.

True.. I thought this list was about PCI Macs, that in general only run 
Classic. Yeah I admit I have G4 machines with X on them, but I have other 
lists to disucuss those. I would never think of trying to install X on my 
beloved beiges.
