This keeps happening. It is intermittent. It happens on both ethernet and printer port connexions. It is not the ports. It is NOT THE CABLES (I have tried several printer cables as well as the NEW ethernet dongle). It is driving me nuts.

Generally I can get it working again by resetting AppleTalk from printer port to ethernet or the other way round, though I can guarantee that it WILL lose the printer again eventually.

IS there a known software problem which can cause this?
