OK guys(and girls too-sorry) I only got 1 response from a helpfull guy yesterday about dead serial ports
in my PM7500. I guess this isn't a fav topic amongst you mac gurus. I guess if I had dead serial ports AND I had an ATA with 9.1 conflict, you people would be filling the emails with suggestions. Well, here i sit-staring at the PM sitting on the floor next to me. Like a patient in a waiting room, we anxiously wait our turn to be examined and discussed. I've come to you today because I'm still looking for the truth. I wonder why the modem and the printer do not respond. Many attempts to log on have led me to realize it is my serial port that does not recieve signals. There appears to be no physical damage. What's wrong doctor? Thanks.
