I have been looking for a program for a personal address book. I hadn't
heard about iData Pro before, but, hey, the price is right so it seemed
worth trying. Anyway, you are right about the problems with 1.0.8.

With 1.0.9, I created a new "Field-based Datafile" with name and address
fields. Saved it to the iData Datafiles folder. Added some names and
addresses and saved them.

Quit iData Pro and made an alias on the desktop of the file I had created.
Closed all windows. Clicked on the alias and it came right up. I also
moved the original out of the iData Pro folder and it still worked.

Did you have both 1.0.8 and 1.0.9 installed at the same time?
