Fred, I am running an iBook OS9.1 Disk on my 9600/g3 Upgraded to 400/1mb. It runs great. I have heard several Apple Techs say that the whole iMac, or iBook logo was just a hoax, and that these OS's could run on anything capable of running that OS. As far as running OS9.2.2. or OS X, There are software programs available to allow you to do this. One is OS9 Helper, and the other is XpostFacto. Both are by Other World Computing. Check out their website for details. Kirk.
