Normal is DOWN, towards the printed circuit board.

So, for a non-Mach 5, the positions would be DOWN, DOWN, DOWN and DOWN; while 
for a Mach 5 the positions would be DOWN, UP, UP and DOWN.

Depending upon the DIP switch's indicia, this could be CLOSED, CLOSED, CLOSED 
and CLOSED; or CLOSED, OPEN, OPEN and CLOSED; respectively.
