Thanks, I will try cleaning the cache. Yes, the Sonnet really makes my 6500
pretty zippy. That and being on DSL. I'm a happy camper!

Can anyone tell me the real advantages to the OS 10 if you are not heavily
into graphics, which I'm not. I've been considering an eMac (the middle
one), but then I wonder why! One thing in it's favor is that I can still
run Classic 9 on it. Some people really love OS 10. Others are not crazy
about it. Any comments are welcome before I go out & buy one. I will keep
my 6500 & just network them. Oh, yes, I installed an external 40 gig hard
drive & connected it with one of the firewire ports I installed in my 6500,
so I'm not croweded for space, even though the eMac has a much larger hard
drive than the 6500. My 6500 came with a 3 gig HD. I also have a Zip drive
connected to it. I guess one of the reasons I am considering the eMac now is
that it is probably the last Mac that will allow me to run OS 9 as well as
OS 10 x.
