Sorry, I know how frustrating this issue is. Are your drives formatted suitably (htfs+ should work), You didn't mention type, size and model, and more importantly what version of OS. Looked on the list, but your current os is unclear
my OS is 9.1 and I had the same problem with 8.6, but then also the filestructure cracked, now I am indeed backed up for any events - they are all formatted with the apple disk tool of that same os, and both are hfs + the mac is PM 7600 and the disks are MAXTOR 40 gb and IBM (brand new with valid warranty)is 80 gb, anything else you need ?
