The only thing missing was a salutation from someone
named Abacha who works for the National Bank of Nigeria and seeks your help in a sensitive matter
requiring great discretion.
I've always wondered-who writes that stuff? They go
to a lot of trouble writing these huge letters. Have they ever found the people responsible??
Oy. See the FTC's take : <http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/nigeralrt.htm>
Go to google (when you have a day or three) and do a search on 'Nigerian Scam', or '419 scam'.
You'll be flooded with more info than you want to know, including many pages where people with too much time on their hands have turned to scamming the scammers, such as The Ebola Monkey Man <http://www.ebolamonkeyman.com/> and Project Pierpoint <http://pierweaver.com/~pierpont/letters.html>
