Just un-plug the (3) different plugs on the back of the CD-ROM and re-plug them into the new one....and DON'T forget to ZAP the PRAM (re-start holding down the: Option, Apple(command), *P* and *R* keys. Hold them down till the machine re-boots at least twice (or more) and see what transpires........
