Look for a 500 MB - 1 gig spare drive. Install OS 8.5.1 or 8.6 (HFS+ format is ok) and boot from it. Install PC Setup 1.6.1/4 and create your partition. Shift to DOS and install PC Compatibility software (on floppy). Restart on DOS and begin installing MS-DOS 6.22 (if the first disk isn't recognized keep pressing the "Return" key). Do have a 6.22 floppy set that will run on a PC. Install Windows 3.11 or 95. I found Virtual PC easier to install and ran much faster (depending on the speed of the cpu card) than my PC-166 card on an 8500/200 so I sold the card and freed a PCI slot.
