I don't know your image prgm, but best not to tick any "progressive" boxes when jpeging (makes the pics appear in passes from fuzzy to sharp as on some web pages). The other thing to do check is to ensure there is a .jpg or .jpeg extenion on your files, eg. myCat.jpg
Another thing to try if the above do not solve problem: at the base of the box for attachments in Outlook Express is a long rectangular button saying "Encode for computer (AppleDouble);no compression;Window file name extensions" Press it and in the dialog box that comes up choose Windows options - see what options best gets them to your destinations. If all else fails, post your pics via FTP to a web site (there are free ones like Tripod) and simply give your folk the address.
