OK, Arnold sent a small photo to my newsgroup account, which I received with Agent.
Agent allows me to view the raw message, and unlike certain other clients
(*cough*Eudora*cough*Pocomail*cough*OE*cough) really does let me see every single byte
of the message, as far as I can tell.

I looked the results over briefly, but since I was able to read the message and decode
and view the picture without any trouble, I'm not sure I can shed any light on the
problem. I copy/pasted the raw message into a text file, and took a screenshot showing
that yes, indeed, I could read the message, despite the comment in the text about
being unable to read the content because it's in MIME format. I have NO idea where
that came from, but I seriously doubt it's from my email server, which should be
entirely transparent.

I was able to view the file in ACDSee, then I added a .jpg extension and viewed it in
IE and the Image program that comes with Windows.

In the screenshot, please ignore all the "critical patch" and related Trojan messages.
(I certainly intend to.) I've gotten about 60 of the damned things, and so has my
wife. Interestingly enough, we've only seen them on accounts that we use to post to
the newsgroups.
