Try burning at 2x. I've had a similar problem with an older SPARC drive, and was given 
that solution. Seems to work. Or try burning at the CD reader's native speed (which in 
the SPARC's case is 2x :). JFTR my burner is 8x write, so even that small a change can 
make a difference.

Yep, should. It's a CD reader with some extra stuff.
