Hello all, I've recently acquired a scanner to use with my office machine, a PM8500 running OS9.2.1. They seem of similar vintage. The scanner:
Linotype-Hell (Jade -- not Jade 2) ELS-2600 H5G1 The person I acquired the scanner from, in a fit of over-the-top house cleaning some time ago, tossed out the driver software and any manuals she had. I've been looking for something downloadable and have found no way to get Linotype-Hell drivers other than pay a couple hundred dollars to a firm in Germany. I've seen 3rd party drivers available (VueScan - SilverFast) but would rather not spend $70 to use this scanner.
