If you can playback the recorder into the amplifier/speakers it must have the right output (RCA, DIN) jacks you need to hook it directly to the Mac. Make or have someone with soldering skills make the Y mono-stereo cable you need and adjust the audio stream's volume and left-right balance with Toast's CD Spin Doctor before recording.
