right that's it i have to ask someone about this it is driving me mad how can i change the colour of simpletext docs to black there's no menu item about it and surely i don't have to keep opening clariworks etc to do this one little job - for bits and pieces...
There is a patch for SimpleText that allows you to change text color. I can't find the info right now, but a bit of Googling should find it.
Or... get Tex-Edit Plus. SimpleText for grownups. More powerful and more features than SimpleText, yet just as easy to use.
