thanks Chris, perfectissimo about the patch ... (thanks for other
suggestions but no, I use ST precisely when I don't need more power and
features (of that I have more than enough ... for even the most grown up!).
but this business of the color annoyed me 'cos I often paste things in there
as a work margin and need black type ... just one other thing, I get
messages now and then saying that some doc which is supposed to open in ST
won't because too big... And then I turn Clarisworks. I give much more
memory than recommended but maybe I can use resedit to tweak it to open
longer docs ... Can I be bothered? Again, thanks for the color suggestion,
yes I followed this advice...
