As far as I know, the install was a duplicate of a standard install, which the
school's tech did for all the 5400 Macs, that included the card.

When I originally got the system it gave me an error. I don't remember the exact text
of the error. I managed to make it go away. I can't get it back. I believe it referred
to the Ethernet card not being found, so it defaulted to the internal network, or some
such. I can't do a re-install because I don't have the install disks. I've already
bought a second card, it doesn't work either. The tech gave me two extra cards to try,
only they were the wrong cards and won't fit in the slot. (Key is in the wrong place.)
It's a CS II Ethernet card, and I assume the drivers are in place, since I can see it
in the extensions manager, but I could be completely off base, I know jack squat about
Macs and Mac OS.

I'm getting getting ready to test the kids' games CDs to see which need to be
re-duplicated, and I'll put it up for playing the games, let them use it for that
until it dies. Seems to work great for that. Seems useless for anything else except
frustrating me and wasting my time. I've got better things to do.
