According to info, the printer should have had both the PS SIMM *and* the 
RAM SIMM, but both were missing.

I got the PS SIMM off of eBay, but I didn't know that the RAM SIMM was 
also required.

With just the PS SIMM installed, the printer has only that which is on 
the mobo, which is 2 MB.

Worked as a PS printer with only 2 MB but at only 300 dpi (no surprise 
there).

So, I bought one 8 MB RAM SIMM for a total of 10 MB, which should be more 
than enough for 600 dpi, which requires only 8 MB on the similar Apple 
LaserWriter Pro 630 (same Canon EX marking engine).
