Sounds like a scsi ID# conflict. First, open Apple System Profiler and write down all the scsi ID #'s for all the scsi devises attached to your Mac.Then, check the manufacturer's site for how to set the scsi ID and set the jumpers on the second hdd to a number not being uses. You should then be able to see and mount the drive.
