I use my 6100 as a printer server with localtalk bridge. The 300 is
connected directly to the printer port. I also have a HP DeskWriter 870 Cse
connected to the 8500 (on 9.2.2) with localtalk bridge. I had to use
appletalk to make that one work. The computers are networked with ethernet
and all the other computers on the network can "see" the printers on
chooser.
