Friend (who has new G4) has a 6360 and wants to give it to his niece, been running it with 8.6 with about 48MB RAM. He won't toss it for a cheap 7300 to give instead. So, what I wanna know is what do folks reckon about an L2 cache for it, what sort of % speed increase could one expect with this. And it has 2 slots for 168 pin RAM, book says 136 is max (8 on board) but this was before 128 chips were around. Would 2 x 128 chips be OK in this machine? And is it same chips as for 7300 and 7600? I have suggested at least max RAM and this cache ...
