ACARD cards are among the only which are true "dual platform" ... Mac 
*and* PC firmware are available from the manufacturer.

ACARD products have been relabeled as ProMax/TurboMax (probably 
abandoned), Sonnet, Maxtor, and perhaps others.

I bought a Sonnet-branded UATA/66 controller, and it was really an ACARD. 
A 6260, I believe.
