I have a pair of 18 GB 68 pin Western Digital Drives in a 7500. Apple Drive
Setup can be hacked to recognize them. You might try this link for more info on
the hack:

<http://www.euronet.nl/users/ernstoud/drvsetup.html>

Having little experience with ResEdit it took a couple of attempts before I
got it right.

After opening the fSCR registry in Apple Drive Setup with ResEdit, I used the
"QUANTUM,*" (resource 299) as the model for my newly created "WDIGTL,*" name
which is listed as resource 128.

Of course always use a COPY of Drive Setup when attempting the hack. This
will keeping you original file intact in case the hack fails.

Or I could Email you a copy of the WD hacked Drive Setup
