Thanks Nancy. I wasn't aware of any of this. I think I'll try to get a drive or two in that area, but I want to use all of my slots. That's one of the main reasons I wanted a 9600. I might figure a way to make my own bracket.




If you install a short card in the bottom PCI slot you can still fit one drive on the stock platter. I have a USB card in the bottom which leaves plenty of room for a drive on the forward part.

Two drives on some kind of rack might be tricky because of the speaker assembly, possibly longer PCI cards above, and the case fan. If you don't need the internal speaker it would be easy enough to remove the assembly and rig up a connector for the fan. This would free up a bit of room.
