I looked it up on Apple's site, it does work with Macs well over
100MHz including Beige G3 systems.

http://search.info.apple.com/?search=Go&lr=lang_en&kword=&q=quicktake

Doing a search for QuickTake on Apple's site will get you a bunch of
stuff, one notes that PowerPC Macs need different software to work,
another says you have to use the modem port.

And if you care to read further, it also states that some functions of the software does not work, and on some G3s the camera has to be connected to the modem port, because the printer port can't read the camera..... So it's flaky at best

I still say 75MHz or below to functionally use all aspects of the
camera and software. If you can get the QuickTake 150 to work
properly with all aspects of the camera and software only anything
over 100MHz, please... let me know how you did it.

I have three cameras, computers ranging upto G3 400 and when the
speed of the computer reaches 100MHz, the camera will start to DL the
pics and freeze part way into it. Anything in MHz above that the
camera may or may not get recogniozed and won't DL.

Do not have this problem with the QuickTake 200 or 250.
