The 7500 and 7600 mobos are identical. Installing a 604e processor
daughter card in a 7500 immediately makes it a 7600.

The 7300 is a completely new machine, a "dumbed down" 7600, actually,
with no A-V capability at all, and a 8600/9600 powering scheme.

The 7500/7600 had a 7200 powering scheme (or the 7200 had a 7500/7600
powering scheme, take your pick).

The maximum speed 601 was 120 MHz.

The maximum speed 604e was 225 MHz.

(The maximum speed of a 604ev was 400 MHz, but none were made; 350 MHz
was the fastest 604ev which was made; 250 MHz was the slowest).

Remember, IBM owns and defines the PowerPC architecture.

Apple and Moto are merely users of that architecture (there are many
others, too, none of whom make desktop-type personal computers).
