thanks for all the answers and hints. It seems as the case 7200 introduced really is useful as it appears when first examined. Someone that had to deal with 4400 (7220) really knows the difference.
It appears that I have more options I had hoped for. The most appealing option seems to be getting a 7500 motherboard (or 7600, they are the same) and a CPU card, be it 604 or G3.
I totally agree on the point that complete systems 75/76/85 or even beige G3s are available in large quantities at affordable prices but not in this part of the world. Therefor it is cheaper for me to have a mainboard sent to me overseas instead of the heavy unit thus saving on shipping costs. Let's see what local eBay brings me...
