i'm confused (comes when everything i've tried fails).
this has all these switches to change the cache & clock speeds, & i tried a
lot of them, but i think it's fried. i tried it in an 8500. is it likely it
just melted? i got it kind of randomly, thrown in to the 8500 mobo deal,
"untested" (yeah, right!). the 8500 won't chime or anything. (i know the
mobo works, cos there was a regular 200mhz 604e in the deal, as well, which
works great).

is there any switch combo that anyone has had success with?
should i just set it on fire & breathe the fumes?
(jk-i think that's bad, isn't it?)

just rambling.
