i've noticed that many of the questions on the list i find answers to simply
looking in GURU (guide to ram upgrades)--newer tech's utility. it's so
useful when juggling parts between macs, compatibility issues, etc.

on another note: i was having problems with a non-apple scsi cd-rom, & then
found apple cd-rom os 7.6 extension (NOT 7.6.1, which gave me some trouble
initially), & it was magic! i have one question, which i haven't yet tried:
can you use the newer cd/dvd rom extension in conjunction with this
old-school driver?
