I read in my 7300 and 7600 user manuals to not use more than 2 monitors. But
always wondered if more were possible? The brilliant built in monitor
arranging software would not work surely?
Yes it works, but there are hard system-based limitations on the number of pixels wide the desktop can be. I do know it was smaller in OSX than in OS 9, as people who routinely use 3 monitors (video editing folks, mostly) ran into some problems with the advent of OSX.
