It's a 9600/200MP if that helps at all. Could the two cd drives in my system have anything to do with it? One is a 4x cd burner, the other is the OEM cd drive. What OS are you running? I am running 9.2.2 (via Os9Helper 1.0.1) and that has helped a lot as far as the card is concerned. With earlier versions of the OS I had to install USB and Firewire drivers separately (they weren't included with the OS)
Have you ran Os9Helper and installed the "OldWorld Firewire Support" option (if you're using it)? That clears several problems.
If you want to send me a system profile report or the like I could take a look at it....no guarantees though
It should be very easy to switch the cards around in their slots so I would give that a shot. Have you tried all the basic things? (i.e. reinstalling iTunes, rebuilding your desktop, running disk first aid, resetting your pram, etc.)
Good luck
Jesse
Jesse,It's too much like voodoo. Maybe the electrons on my universe spin the other way. Just for the sake of argument that is it, which slot is your Tempo Trio card in?. In my 9500 which has 6 pci slots, I have mine on the top most slot. ( Sorry if that is not technically correct folks)
Thanks for your post. I've been troubleshooting this iTunes thing by myself for about 3 months. Other than the Tempo Trio card, I don't have any other USB or Firewire PCI cards inside my PM9500. Like I said earlier I downloaded an AV utility but that didn't do anything cause it said it couldn't find any ACARD something....Your machine is almost like mine I suppose but I have Sonnet's G4 800mhz card and an ATI 7000 Mac edition video card. I
am leery of moving the different PCI cards around but I may give that a try.
