The 6500 is one of those Macs that Be listed as "unsupported but
compatible". In otherwords, it *does* boot, but does not really work very
well in all areas.

A little of both. [um]Healthy competition?! You need something like 8.6 or
earlier to boot BeOS.

I suspect your PCI bus timing was off and therefore your NIC was not talking
to BeOS correctly.

If it doesn't appear as a PPC app, there are a few of us about that will be
willing to recompile it ;-)

I have done a few in my time. Now if only I could find the time to do
Mozilla ;-)
