My almost 5 YO son has my old 9500 and he likes to play all his kiddie software on it. A couple weeks ago his grandpop cleaned it all out and upgraded to OS 9.2
While bringing it home, we somehow lost the little adapter to convert from the video card (I think it's a stock ixMicro Twin Turbo) to a VGA 15" NEC monitor. Soooo...I don't know what that particular adapter was called and where I can get a replacement. It wasn't a standard mac to VGA adapter, I have lots of those. I am considering upgrading his computer, especially if I can't find this adapter. He likes to play some of the new games that need at least a G3 or faster processor, and a faster video card like a ATI Rage 128. Can you give me recommendations of what are the best PCI cards to get? Any I should avoid? Please keep in mind that this is for a 5 YO kid, so I need to keep it economical. He'll probably be getting my G4 in another year or so ;-) thanks, Susan Susan L.
