You're right Glen! It even says "fast" on 0. I should look more closely.
Presumably the spare 1 bus connector is in case you might want to use 1 via
ribbon for a device inside the case but why would you ever want to? There's
room only for so much in a 7300 case. Perhaps the board is common to some
extent with other machines that have lots more space...

And, yes you are probably right about the lid, truth is I have not come to
use this 18GB yet in earnest. And I would want the lid on really! I want to
explore the simplest way of connecting my 18GB from the outside onto bus 0
or, if need be, to bus 1 to the spare slot or failing all this, to the
normal SCSI chain via the outside (bus 1) scsi port. need to know what
connectors are available (the HD has 50 pins)
