Hi......Jim , If you read the "fine print" on Panther (I wish I had), it
clearly states that the G3/G4/G5 recipient MUST have built-in or "native"
USB. That means that the B&W-G3 and Bondi Blue iMac are the 1st Macs that
shipped with USB and the earliest that'll accept Panther. At least, that's
my impression.      Mikie
