Well, I get a ton of list mail from various forums. Some have "special" 
tags in the subject line, some have peculiar "from" addresses. It is a 
simple matter to set up your "sort" criterion on the peculiarities of 
each list. I find the extra tags in the subject line annoying because of 
the limited display length of the subject block of my email client. It is 
possible to lose some of the end words in the line, particularly annoying 
in a foreshotened browser column.
