Hey we live in a "Democarcy" & one sometimes wonder if our votes count ;-)

Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you live in the United States, you do not live in a democracy. You live in a Democratic Republic and no your vote really doesn't count if the Electoral College feels that the public didn't vote right.
