Hello All,

I'm trying to get the proper name for a part I need to get a Jaz Drive (a
later V2000S, 2 Gig model) hooked up to my 9600 box. When I got the drive
off of ePay, it came with a connecting cable that seems to be 50-pin to
50-pin. Is there an adapter of some kind that I would plug the cable into
so that I can, in turn, plug it into my SCSI port? Or do I need a whole new
cable?

The Jaz ships with a HD-50 connector, and I bet you have a HD50-HD-50 cable. (at least the Jaz we have here in the office has one.)

Here's a cable : <http://www.cablesamerica.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=6402&sku=07856> $12.

An adapter: <http://www.cablesamerica.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=1102&sku=13216> $7

If you're connecting the Jaz to another device with a centronics 50 connection, it's considerably cheaper: <http://www.cablesamerica.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=6402&sku=28080> $3.53.

All in all not too bad.
