Is it bad to plug or unplug the keyboard while the machine is running?
The reason I ask is, I have two Macs I would like to share a keyboard if
possible. I want to share a keyboard between a 7600 and an 8100.
Thanks
Tom

HI

It is not a good idea - there is a voltage issue here, I think there is a 5 volt trickle charge through the keyboard (Someone will correct me if I am Wrong), if you misalign when plugging in you could find yourself with no k/b and possibly no adb on one of your macs. Unless you have USB cards in both macs, and are talking about USB k/bs, as the USB is hot swappable.
